They are the only top four retailer to be 100% British across all fresh beef, pork, poultry and lamb all year round. In addition, Morrisons, alone among the major supermarkets, processes over 90% of its fresh meat in-house. This involvement in the whole supply chain gives Morrisons close control of quality and provenance. It also offers a traditional butcher's shop approach, where customers can ask the butcher for the cut they want to be freshly prepared, and get advice on how to cook it.
