Red Sprouts

Stronger flavoured red sprouts are going on on sale in Morrisons to add a splash of colour to Christmas dinner. The Morrisons variety is available November to January thanks to the supermarket’s farmers in Lincolnshire. Wayne Pleasance, Morrisons’ sprout buying manager, said: “We all know that sprouts are a traditional part of the Christmas dinner, but many people are a bit bored of them, or don’t actually like them, despite all their nutritional benefits. Red sprouts are an ideal solution as they have a different flavour and also add an extra bit of colour to the Christmas meal.”
