These Red Chioce Tomatoes are from the Isle of Wight, where the milder climate makes them deliciously plump and juicy. British tomatoes have been found to have significantly higher levels of lycopene (the antioxidant that may help protect against cancer and heart disease) than long-life imported tomatoes - yet another reason to lower your food miles and buy British. The British tomato season is in full swing from March through to October so look for the British flag to be sure your tomatoes have come straight off our own British vines and ripened on the plants for the fullest flavour.
