Thwaites prides itself on brewing beers with just that right balance of flavours and great taste – they’ve even coined a new phrase to describe this unique Thwaites brewing idea… Drinkability - ensuring the last taste of our beer is as good as the first. Most beers use just four, main, natural ingredients – water, malt, hops and yeast – but it is the skill of their Head Brewer and his team, built up over 200 years of craft brewing that differentiates Thwaites beers from the rest. Thwaites celebrated their centenary in 2007, with the launch of Wainwright Ale, named after their local hero Alfred Wainwright, whose books have guided generations of walkers around the beautiful Lake District. Their range also includes Bomber, Nutty Black and Thwaites Smooth.
