The South Caernarfon Creameries Cheese company was established in 1938 as a farmer owned co-operative, for the purpose of collecting and processing milk. The creamery is situated in one of the most picturesque areas of North West Wales, the Llyn Peninsula, in the foot hills of Snowdonia. Famous for its breathtaking scenery and natural beauty. The company is now Wales' only farmer owned dairy co-operative which now has nearly 200 members. As well as it's extensive liquid milk division, the company is universally renowned for its award winning cheeses. Their high quality milk is sourced from 190 farms, all of which are farm assured member producers, and they pride ourselves in the fact that the quality of the raw milk is amongst the highest in the UK. This is because the philosophy of their producers is to be constantly more aware of the welfare and the overall well being of their dairy cows.
